JASON EVANS 401-378-7792 // jason@jasonevansphoto.com
Jason is a sports enthusiast, surfer, and environmentalist. He loves traveling and strives to visit a new country for each year he is alive. His experiences as an athlete and traveler drive him as a photographer. He strives to capture respectful and emotionally subtle images of athletes and people from all walks of life. He looks for the unexpected and loves the opportunity to capture people doing what they know best- be it hunting in the woods of Maine or nailing a front four-and-a-half off the 10 meter platform at the Olympics.
Jason’s work has been recognized by American Photography, International Photography Awards, PDN, APA and with two solo exhibitions at the Newport Art Museum. His photographs are part of the permanent collection at Musée Olympique, Lausanne, Switzerland and the Newport Art Museum, Newport, Rhode Island. In addition to shooting for commercial and editorial clients, including P&G, Intel, Bank of America, New Balance, Morgan Stanley, Nike, Yankee Magazine, Oofos, Vitamin Shoppe, WWD, and ESPN. Jason has been an integral contributor to the International Olympic Committee by creating iconic imagery of the last 5 Olympic Games.
When not on an assignment, he is actively engaged in stewardship of the land and water where he resides in Rhode Island. Jason is passionate about open space preservation and water quality in our oceans and in what we drink. On a perfect day you can catch him surfing and documenting the life of his buddies at dawn or in his back yard sharing stories from the road with his favorite producer and wife, Lisa, and their two rescue cats, Jeffrey and Jeremy.
